Wild happenings at Candyland

With disc jocks like Ikel Marvlous, Flabba Dabba, Foota Hype and others at the control, patrons were in for a treat at Sher Luxury Doll’s birthday party, dubbed ‘Candyland’. Held at Oneil’s Place on Hagley Park Road last Saturday, patrons tuned out in their numbers, many hoping for a chance to win a full body makeover.

At the end of the night, it was 31-year-old Nicole Graham who was declared the winner.

Graham told THE STARthat her winning the prize, which is valued at over US$5000, was ‘destiny’.

“I’m ecstatic at this time, it’s a dream come true for me. I told Sher that I was going to take home the prize when I bought the ticket in the morning. This must be godsend. I was at the event from 9:30 p.m., waiting patiently for the raffle of tickets. When my name was called I was elated, even though I still had to pass one more test, which is to get the backing of the crowd, and they chose me,” she explained.

Designer Body has targeted celebrities in the dancehall to act as ambassadors. Personalities including Sher Luxury Doll, Shauna Controlla and Renee 6:30 are some of the ladies that have benefited from body makeovers.
