Conscious artiste Ibo Fyah came out blazing in 2019, experiencing a great year which allowed him to showcase his talents at a slew of live performances.
With releases such as Fit You Affi Fit and Play Reggae Music, Ibo Fyah had much to promote.
He was invited to perform at the Port Royal Food Festival (hosted by media personality Jenny Jenny from Hitz92 FM) as well as the Portmore Music Fest, Denbigh Agricultural Show and other events.
“2019 was a really good year for me when it came to performances. I really love the energy I received from the fans and they can expect more in 2020,” he said.
The reggae artiste, who prides himself on doing conscious music, says that the message he delivers is of utmost importance.
“My music is clean, wholesome music that everyone can listen to whether young or old; that is what sets my music apart. There are so many things happening in these times, so many senseless killings, the disparity, the hatred, all of those things have to stop. That is why I will continue to do music that will uplift and encourage the masses,” he said.
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
Currently working on new projects, the singer is on the verge of turning up promotions for this year, with collaborations with 12to12 Music and other producers.
These will follow his last major compilation releases, his Gateway EP and the mixtape The Journey Never Stops.
Considering the success of 2019, he is hoping to continue on this path in 2020.
“I would love to continue getting these opportunities to perform on these platforms for the people because I really have a lot of positive material to deliver in 2020 and beyond,” he said.
